Some chose to stop at Lone Pine via Horseshoe Meadows to resupply while we carried all the food from Kennedy Meadows all the way to Kearsarge Pass. It was only a bit terrible the first day and a half, so I was glad I didn't have to go out of the way to resupply in such a short time.

Upon reaching Cottonwood Pass, I saw ominous clouds and some rain in the distance. I hurried my way to our campsite at Chicken Springs Lake, where my group had just recently jumped in the mostly frozen lake. I opted from jumping in, as I wanted to pitch my tent and make dinner. A few sprinkles came in but the clouds cleared up right after. We all went to bed early that night.
